Kathy did 10 seasons at The Western Stage, a regional theater in Salinas, California, where she had leads on the main stage doing musicals like I Remember Mama, Carousel, Sound of Music, The Wizard of Oz. She then switched to the black box theater for meatier roles like Steel Magnolias, Tale of Two Cities, Spring's Awakening and Something Wicked This Way Comes.
IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, SHE'S WORKED AT THE UNDERGROUND THEATER, THE 2CENTS THEATER GROUP, INTERNATIONAL CITY THEATER, FULLERTON CIVIC LIGHT OPERA, CHANCE THEATER , THE LAGUNA PLAYHOUSE YOUTH THEATER, AND THE HUNGRY ARTIST.
Developmental Theater and Staged Readings
Kathy loves to be at the beginning of things, and did two developmental theater roles while at The Western Stage (Tale of Two Cities and Something Wicked This Way Comes). Now in Southern California, she's done many Staged Readings for South Coast Rep's Pacific Playwright's Festival and for their Conservatory classes; for Univ. of CA Irvine's Playwright Competitions; and at The Atwater Playhouse.
The Present
Kathy enjoys playing older women, and though much younger, her last two roles portrayed women in their 80s. The silver white hair probably helps!
